12 String Guitar!

So the other day I wandered into Guitar Center as I often do, to play with the toys. I love Guitar Center. They have a room full of acoustic and electric guitars that you can play all day without any sale pressure. Over the years I've bought a few from them. They let you keep it for 30 days, and on the 29th day you can bring it back no questions asked. I've had some pretty fancy stuff at home , always returning it at the last minute, and with the honest "I was just trying it out". Never a hassle.

the other day I bought a 12 String Takamine. After fooling around with a Martin, a Guild, and a few cheapo Yamaha's, I fell in love with this Jumbo Body 12 string. Its bright, its big, and the sounds is a chorus of chordy goodness..

A week later, I'm certain that I'm gonna keep it.. Its just an intoxicating sound. I've been mindlessly strumming it in my living room until well past my bedtime every night. I've learned to play "Wanted Dead or Alive" just because the 12 String intro sounds so bad ass..

I never really thought much about Takamine guitars, but wow, the sound and the feel of this very large instrument is out of this world...
